Coaching, training, and expeditions
for men who are done waiting.
JC La Verde is a former pararescueman and first responder in Tampa Bay. He coaches men one-on-one for 90 days — fitness, mindset, and a group of guys who keep you honest. Start with the free book, or the $27 kit that gives you something to do this week.

Pick the easier one. Neither requires a phone call.
"You can start today without talking to anyone."
Warrior's Notes.
A short, free book about getting started when you've been putting it off. Six chapters, one sitting. Costs nothing.
The First Step Kit.
A $27 kit mailed to you with one physical task to finish this week, plus a 7-day text thread with JC. No contract, no call.
What it costs. All of it, listed here.
Three ways to work with JC, plus adventure trips. Nothing is held back for a sales call.
"You pay for coaching. Faith conversations are never charged for."
Intro Call
Free25 minutes with JC, by phone or video. He asks what's going on, you ask him anything. If he's not the right fit, he'll say so.
The Room
$7,50090 days of one-on-one coaching: 12 sessions with JC, a training plan built for your schedule, and weekly check-ins. He stays past 90 days if you still need him.
The Team
$250 / moOngoing group coaching after The Room. Weekly structure, a custom fitness plan, team meetings, and the same men still training with you.
Trips come in three difficulty levels — beginner, moderate, and advanced. You train toward the harder ones over the year. Coaching clients pay a discounted rate; experienced outsiders can join at full price.
Body, purpose, connection. In that order.
JC builds the physical first, because it's the fastest thing to change. Then the reason behind it, then the people around it.
- 01
1. Body
Get training again — strength, conditioning, sleep, and food you'll actually keep up with.
- 02
2. Purpose
Get clear on what you're working toward, and write it down so it's not just a feeling.
- 03
3. Connection
Stop doing it alone. You get JC and a group of men who notice when you go quiet.
- 04
4. First step
One specific thing to do this week. Not a plan for someday.
- 05
5. The 90 days
12 scheduled sessions, so progress doesn't depend on how motivated you feel.
Not an app.
Not a course.
Not a feed.A coach who knows your name.
Fitness apps sell you videos and streaks. JC learns your schedule, your injuries, and what you keep avoiding — then builds around it.
- 01
One-on-one coaching with JC — not a video library.
- 02
Real training in a real gym, plus trips outdoors.
- 03
Built by a former pararescueman and working first responder.
- 04
90 days of follow-up, not a one-day event.
- 05
Faith is there if you want it, and never pushed.
Where most men are now, and what changes here.
- 01Watching workout videos and reading about it
- 02Motivated on Sunday, done by Tuesday
- 03An app that tracks a streak
- 04Everyone else's progress in your feed
- 01One task to finish this week, in real life
- 02A coach checking in on you for 90 days
- 03Real training, and real trips outdoors
- 04Your own progress, week by week
Three things, one person behind them.
"A coaching business, a free book, and a nonprofit for fathers."

Defeat X Adventure Co.
The coaching company: 90 days of one-on-one work, group training, and outdoor trips.

If any of this sounds like you, JC can help.
Who We Serve- 01
First responders and veterans — including guys whose department won't pay for wellness.
- 02
High performers who are sharp at work and stuck everywhere else.
- 03
Fathers who want to be in better shape and more present at home.
- 04
Men who like the idea of hard outdoor challenges but have never done one.
No made-up quotes. Real ones are coming.
"JC is just launching. We'd rather leave these blank than invent them."
We'll put a real client's words here after the first 90-day group finishes.
A father's own quote, taken at week 12 — not before.
Saved for a name we haven't earned yet.
The usual options, and where they stop.
You have to see yourself as broken before you qualify.
They stop at motivation. Then the feed moves on.
A great weekend, then no plan for Monday.
- 01Real training, in person and outdoors.
